Sometimes Tosca doesn't recognize an empty row and throws an error message. You have to check whether it works for you.<\/p> 2. Option 2 - While Statement<\/strong><\/p> That's what we use to identify the first empty row in an SAP Table. It's stable and we haven't had any issues whith it so far. Adapted for your use case you could check in a loop whether the cell \"Item\" is not empty. The while loop stops when a cell is found which doesn't contain any value. The buffer {B[row]} then has the number of that empty row and can be used for further operations. Default value for maximum repetitions of while statements is 30. For me, I create a reportlog in txt file at the very start of the testcase in precondition. This allow me to append every success teststep into the reportlog. The reportlog is also unique for each run with \"reportlog-{datetimebuffer}.txt\". This will be saved into a reportlog folder.<\/p>
After the execution of the process, in the postcondition, you can send the reportlog to your email in pdf by converting the txt file into pdf. You can also add screenshots of each of the processes to your email as well. This will serve as a transparent reporting and for auditing. Hope this help.<\/p>

Just realized, Templates cannot be combined with Business Parameters.<\/p>

A few thoughts on your issue.<\/p>
1. ReusableTeststepBlock (RTSB)- {XL[]} vs. {PL[]}<\/strong><\/p> Business Parameters are only available in RTSBs. Once you have decided to use them, {XL[]} references don't work anymore when you call them\u00a0directly<\/u>\u00a0on a test step in your RTSB. That's how Tosca works. Instead you can hand over the {XL[]} to the business parameter or buffer them in advance and hand over the buffer to the business parameter.<\/p> \u00a0<\/p> Example 1 -\u00a0Doesn't Work\u00a0- {XL[]} will not be resolved anymore, since you are using both, {XL[]} and {PL]} in parallel directly on teststeps<\/strong><\/p> \u00a0<\/p> Example 2 -\u00a0Works\u00a0- Once you start instantiation {XL[] reference will be resolved since it's been called in a business parameter<\/strong><\/p> \u00a0<\/p> Example 3 -\u00a0Works\u00a0- If you only use {XL[]} references in a RTSB and no business parameters, {XL[]}'s get resolved, once you start instantiation<\/strong><\/p> \u00a0<\/p> Example 4 -\u00a0Works\u00a0- Inside \/ Outside of an RTSB in parallel<\/strong><\/p> \u00a0<\/p> 2. I am having 15 Test Cases in my execution list , in every test case there are these 2 steps 1.Open URL 2.Maximize the Window(i am using TBOX Window Operation for this operation) after pre condition steps like close existing browsers with Taskkill. So in all my test cases the Maximize window step is failing with \u00a0reason as The Window was not found! . This failure is happening only when we run the test cases in DEX(Agent Machine) . when we run it as stand alone in Scratch book or execution list this is not happening. should i include any Parameters to avoid this failure in DEX . i already have Synchronization Time out as 60 Secs\u00a0<\/p>

I'd log in to the remote agent machines to spy on the test (using the same user as DEX uses) while it's running to see exactly what is interfering - typically you get about 15-60 seconds to watch until it boots you out. I've encountered similar where Chrome (or whatever app\/browser) you are using has the little information bubbles popped up with \"Chrome unexpectedly closed... do you want to continue where you left off?\" or other things such as accepting push notifications, etc. Alternatively you could take a screenshot upon failure and see what may be present at the time.\u00a0<\/p>
For all the DEX machines I make sure to have any of the browser options set to ensure no dialogs pop up for location, push notifications, etc as part of the standard setup. This has taken care of a lot of the intermittent failures and improved success rate immensely.\u00a0<\/p>
As mentioned in the previous comments using Taskkill is not a great option as Chrome will always pop up the message and only option is to manually click it (or automate it). In those scenarios where you need to force close the browser I use a PowerShell script that closes it instead and avoids the Chrome unexpectedly closed like Taskkill does. Sorry for asking many questions i am working tables first time Tosca so getting lot of doubts .<\/p>
My Question is : i have to provide\u00a0 Buffer as more than one value using by any separator and i have to run loop by splitting that buffer based on the separator .<\/p>
For Ex :\u00a0 my buffer should be CUM,CNAME so when i split with , then Buffer(0) should be CNUM and perform the action which is verify and then pick Buffer(1) should be CNAME .<\/p>

1) Using the TBox Set Buffer module, I have stored the string input ABC,BCD,DEF in the buffer named as InitiatlBuffer<\/p>
2) Using the TC String Operations, I have got the count of the separator , in the buffer Count. So as per logic, number of words in the buffer will be the number of separators + 1.<\/p>
3) I have created a test step folder at which I have set the value of the property Repetition at the folder level as {B[Count]} which means that the steps inside this folder will be repeated as many times as the value of the buffer Count.<\/p>
4) Inside the folder Split buffer I have used 2 steps:<\/p>
\u00a0 \u00a0 1) In the step, Tbox Set Buffer, I am using {XB} to extract one word from the InitialBuffer and then extract the remaining substring.<\/p>

In 90% of the cases the mouse pointer would move over to the link and you would be able to see the action happen as if you have mouse over-ed the control. How to configure TTA agent and Capio Mini[TTA Mini] in the system to run recoreded steps in service now ?
